Today on World Social Work Day central European event was organised in the UN Palace of Nations in Geneva. The conference titled “Social Work and Youth: Towards Inclusive Sustainable Development” brought together social work professionals, teachers and UN representatives to talk about challenges that young people face in current societes. At this event president of the EASSW Nino Zganec gave the welcome speech, and member of the EASSW executive committee Aila-Leena Mathies gave the key note speech under the title “Inclusion to what? A radical sustainability perspective on the challenge of youth inclusion faced by social work”
